Privacy policy
Last updated October 4, 2026
This policy explains what information Branch Avenue (“we”, “us”) collects through Avenue Proof, how we use it, and the choices you have. Avenue Proof includes this website, the “See work near you” widget that contractors add to their websites, and the Avenue Proof app that contractors and their teams sign in to.
Information we collect
When you contact us
If you use our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, business name, website, trade, CRM and message. We use it to reply to you and to talk with you about Avenue Proof.
When you visit a website that uses the widget
The widget records how it is used so the contractor can see whether it helps: for example, when the tab is shown, when the panel is opened, which ZIP code was searched, which jobs were viewed, and when the call or text buttons were tapped. These records include the page address and a random session identifier. They do not include your name.
If you ask for a call back, we collect the name and phone number you enter and pass them to that contractor so they can call you.
Information contractors send us
Contractors connect their CRM so finished jobs can appear on their website. We keep what the widget needs, such as the job type, city, state, ZIP code, finish date and the first name of the technician, plus photos their team adds. A customer’s street address is never shown in the widget, and map pins are placed at an approximate spot away from the customer’s home.
When you use the Avenue Proof app
We collect the information needed to sign you in, such as your phone number or email address, and we use a cookie to keep you signed in.
Technical information
Like most websites, our servers keep standard logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.
How we use information
- To run Avenue Proof and show contractors’ recent work to their website visitors.
- To send texts and emails that are part of the service, such as photo requests to technicians and sign-in links.
- To reply to messages and demo requests.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We do not sell personal information.
Sharing
We share information with the contractor whose widget or account it relates to, and with service providers that help us run Avenue Proof, such as hosting, text messaging and email providers. They may use it only to provide their services to us. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The Avenue Proof app uses a cookie to keep you signed in.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as we need it to provide Avenue Proof to our clients and to meet legal obligations. Contractors can remove jobs and photos from their account.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. If your information came to us through a contractor, we may refer your request to them. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
Children
Avenue Proof is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
